Therapy to Inhibit Growth of Polycystic Kidney Disease

Polycystic kidney disease is a kind of genetic disease, and is a hereditary tubular epithelial cell disease. The mechanism is like this: because of autosomal dominant heredity, tubular epithelial cells turn to cystic wall epithelial cells which secrete cystic fluid continuously. Consequently, cysts grow bigger and bigger, followed by abnormal kidney structure. And tubule’s filtering barrier function, concentration, dilution, reabsorption, and regulation are lost gradually, as a result, there is protein and occult blood in patient’s urine.
