According to a statistics of Bangladesh, the country has about 20 million of
patients have different levels of kidney disease, most of the patients can not
receive effective treatment.
A seminar, which called “chronic renal disease: the condition of Bangladesh”,
recently held in the Bangladesh capital, dhaka. The statistics published in the
seminar said that there are 40 thousand people die of kidney disease in
Bangladesh every year. Experts had pointed out that the number of doctor is
severely lacking in Bangladesh, every 250000 people share one kidney disease
doctor on average, however, the standard doctor-patient proportion is every
50000 people share one doctor. Besides, about 90% of patients can not get proper
treatment because they do not have the capabilities to bear the huge cost of
dialysis and kidney transplant. The inhabitants there live by 2 dollars per day,
but a healthy kidney will cost them 1400 dollars.
“In Bangladesh, only 1% of people who are very wealthy have a chance to
receive organ transplantation. Most of the ESRD patients have no choice but die
in silence, they don’t even know they can make their life longer by organ
transplantation.”said Monir Moniruzzaman, a anthropologist in Michigan State
University.
The cost of a kidney are so high that civilian unable to afford it, is there
any other cheaper method to treat kidney disease? The answer is yes! Combined
therapy of Chinese and Western medicine can alleviate the symptoms of ESRD and
uremia, improve patients’ kidney function gradually, then according to specific
conditions, further treatment will be applied. More details please refer to “5C International Renal Health Restoring”
