Renal cysts means that one or several cystic masses happen on human kidney, the patients with renal cysts will develop backache and stomach, even experience blood urine. In clinical, renal cyst is divided into three types, including adult renal cyst, simple renal cyst and acquired cystic disease of kidney.


The causes of renal cysts contain external causes and genetic causes. The external causes including diet, fatigue, mood, renal toxic substances, wound infection, etc. Under the stimulating of external inducement will lead to retention and expansion of secretions due to cell’s abnormal proliferation and metabolic disorders of renal tubular epithelial cell.

The cause of simple renal cyst: simple renal cyst is a congenital abnormal renal lesions, which means unilateral or bilateral kidneys develop one or several unequal-sized cysts. Most of simple renal cyst occur in unilateral kidney, thus it is called simple renal cyst.

The cause of acquired cystic disease of kidney: the cysts is the complication of uremia and dialysis, it is not associated with age, but relate to the dialysis duration. By the statistics, most of the patients take dialysis exceed three years will get renal cysts, some cysts may get infection or even canceration.
