Why Does ESRD Lead to Difficulty Breathing

　　The reason for end stage renal disease is the damage of renal parenchyma, which leading to the accumulation of waste material，then functions of kidney are lost gradually. The complications of renal failure include anemia, sour backache, swelling of eyelid or lower limb, dyspnea, etc.

      Disturbances in the internal environment and immunocompromised bodies make ESRD patients vulnerable to lung infection. The major diseases contain uremic lung, pulmonary edema, pleural effusion and so on.
　　1. Uremic lung
　　Uremic lung also calls uremia pulmonary edema or uremic pneumonitis. The patient with uremic lung have mild symptoms of kidney disease, only have uremia symptoms in early stage. 　　3. Pulmonary calcification:
　　Chronic renal failure may easily lead to soft-tissue calcification, which is most commonly found in lung. The clinical manifestations of pulmonary calcification include chronic breathing difficulties or acute, subacute respiratory failure.
　　4. Uremia pulmonary edema
　　Uremia pulmonary edema is one of the common disease in kidney diseases. When symptoms,including severe dyspnea, orthopnoea, with fear or sensation of asphyxia, pale face, blue jaundice of lips, sweat profusely, hemoptysis, wheezy sound in lung, heart rate increase fast, pulselessness, have appeared in the CRF patients, especially the patients with oliguria and anuria, acute pulmonary edema can be diagnosed with .
　　The major treatment of western medicine for difficulty breathing due to ESRD is hormonotherapy. If the patient is seriously ill, the only method is dialysis. Western medicine can relieve the symptoms temporarily, but its side-effect and complications such as arrhythmia and heart failure may leave tremendous pain to patients, one of the most important points, it cannot treat kidney failure fundamentally.
