Polycystic kidney disease is a severe kidney disease that can deteriorate continually due to the stimulation of external factors without the proper care and attention, leading to renal failure eventually. So patients with polycystic kidney disease should learn how to prevent the deterioration of cysts.


In everyday life, patients should avoid the following food:
1. Fermented foods
It is mainly bacteria fermented foods including yoghourt and fruit vinegar, these food will accelerate the growth rate of cysts.
2. High protein foods
High protein foods such as soy products will increase the synthesis of nitrogen metabolites, bring too heavy burden to kidney.
3. Alcoholic drink

4. Animal offal
