1. Patients had better live in a single room, the room need to be shined by ultraviolet ray twice for every 30 minutes and maintain good ventilation. Patients’ clothes and sheets need to be replaced regularly.
2. Apply aseptic operation strictly to perform fluid exchange, if there are others to operate the process, they must be trained in the hospital firstly.
3. Patients should have a close-up view of the color and concentration of the fluid flew out during peritoneal dialysis, if you find the fluid becomes turbid, please call your doctor and the fluid sample should be collected for hospital assay.
4. Patients need fill in peritoneal dialysis notebooks seriously, including dialyzate flow during each time of dialysis, urine volume, body temperature, blood pressure, pulse, weight, water intake as well as food and fruit intake.
5. Go to the hospital for peritoneal dialysis review regularly at least every half a month.
6. Patients should stay in touch with the dialysis nurse and doctor in hospital.
